Please find below details of how our Local Governing Committee is structured, including the names, categories, responsibilities, and terms of appointment for each Governor.

We currently have vacancies for Parent and Non Elected Governors (parents are also eligible for non elected roles) - if you are interested please contact the clerk to the LGC via clerk@bridgeacademytrust.org.

Meetings, Roles & Responsibilities and Declaration of Interests

The Local Governing Committee will meet at least once a term, but more often if required.

The LGC meetings cover all matters relating to the education of Ongar Primary School pupils, including all aspects of student personal development behaviour and welfare and all matters relating to teaching, learning and assessment and outcomes.

All work of the Local Governing Committee, whether carried out by individual governors or working parties, will be reported back to the Local Governing Committee (LGC) by way of reports (written or verbal) or minutes which will be submitted as papers for the meetings.
